Victoria Phillips

(Certified Coach for Life and Performance)

As a veterinary surgeon, she had the extraordinary privilege of treating animals and helping owners through stressful, emotional and traumatic periods of their lives, as well as training and supporting colleagues and students for 15 years in the profession with the highest suicide rate in the UK.

Driven by her compassionate and adventurous nature, she has also been managing multiple projects for international charities since 2018 to extend my support to as many animals and their communities as possible.

She enjoyed working in mixed then small animal practice from 2006-2018. During this time, she also completed a CertAVP in small animal medicine and critical care and became a senior vet in one of London’s largest 24h hospitals.

She eventually realised that she took more enjoyment from teaching, training and management roles than clinical work, so she followed her other passion of charity work by becoming a veterinary programme advisor for SPANA. This role enabled her to travel and expand on her project management and team leadership skills, including gaining a coaching qualification and becoming a mental health first-aider. Since then, coaching has become an integral part of her life as the value of supporting team members and clients reach their goals has more extensive benefits than the quick-fix she was trained for as a veterinarian, and she is dedicated to championing mental fitness in the veterinary profession.

In addition to working in a range of situations and roles, she traveled to over 65 countries to satisfy her endless curiosity about our planet and other cultures, and she swims, runs and cycles just enough to balance her love of good food and baking.
